- Executive Summary
Qualified Training Solutions is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in alignment with PPN 06/21 and UK Government environmental objectives.
We operate from a small office at 169 Dunstable Road, Luton, with three staff members. Our environmental impact is relatively low, with emissions arising from office gas heating, electricity use, and minimal annual business travel.
This Carbon Reduction Plan details our baseline emissions and the measures we will implement to reduce emissions year-on-year across Scopes 1, 2, and 3.

This CRP has been prepared in accordance with:
– PPN 06/21
– The Greenhouse Gas Protocol
– UK Government GHG Conversion Factors
– SECR reporting principles
We will monitor, measure, and update our emissions annually.
- Organisational Boundary
This Carbon Reduction Plan covers:
– Gas and electricity used in our office
– Mandatory Scope 3 emissions (business travel)
– No fleet vehicles
– No industrial processes
– No refrigerant emissions
Staff primarily work onsite, so commuting emissions are not included.
- Emissions Methodology
Emissions were calculated using:
– UK Government 2024 GHG Conversion Factors
– GHG Protocol (Scopes 1, 2, and 3)
– Billing data and annual consumption estimates
Gas consumption is based on averaged billing patterns.
Electricity consumption has been estimated at 6,594 kWh, reflecting comparable energy use for a small office.

Responsibility for delivering this plan sits with the Environmental Lead / Director of Qualified Training Solutions.
Progress is reviewed annually and reported in updated CRPs.
